We can have a tremendous impact on those around us. We make choices each day whether voluntary or involuntary. Taking control of our own self and our own mind are critical to eliminating all of those involuntary choices and actions. We have focused quite a bit on the role of our body language and gestures in creating our environment. In particular we have found that a genuine smile can say a lot about us. Let us focus now on why we should find it easy to create an environment that we enjoy.
Each and every one of us have been dealt a hand of cards in our life. As a matter of fact from time to time it seems like new wild cards get thrown our way. In these cases we may not necessarily have control over what is dealt to us. Instead of focusing on the hard time or poor luck that we seem to have, take control. We have the ability to make the best of the things we have been dealt instead of letting the things we have been dealt make us. Accepting the lot that we have in life is an important step in releasing our self from the control of circumstances. Once past this acceptance we can instead focus on improving and enjoying those things which we can control.
Our time on earth is but a flash of vapor in the air. Why not enjoy the time we have? Why not make the best of it? Instead of worrying about outside influences how about enjoying our inside influences. Spend time enjoying the simple things of the world. Whatever simple things fascinate you, learn about them, teach others about them, emerge your self in them. Have we been made to spend our entire lives in overdrive, racing from here to there while the simpler things of the world go unnoticed?
King Solomon most eloquently stated this in a straightforward statement, "I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God." We can spend our entire lives chasing after fame or fortune or wealth but none of these lead to happiness. Happiness comes from within our own self. No other person can define happines for us. Create your happiness and create an environment that welcomes others.
